James Ramsay welcomes new Service Manager to the team

James Ramsay (Glasgow) Ltd are delighted to announce that David Gillies has joined the company as our new Service Manager. With over 20 years’ experience as a gas and electrical engineer we are pleased to welcome him to our growing team.

On leaving school, David completed a 4 year electrical apprenticeship with leading electrical contractor, Balfour Kilpatrick. The first step in his working career actually began right here at James Ramsay, where David effectively served a second apprenticeship on the maintenance and repair of Gas and Oil Burners (mainly Weishaupt and Riello). Working under the supervision of James Ramsay’s service team, he gained vital experience and qualifications and during his 8 years’ service was promoted to Senior Engineer.

After a short stint with FES and a further 6 years with Saacke Combustion Services Ltd, he has gone full circle – and returns to James Ramsay as Service Manager.
