Our Capabilities
James Ramsay have the skills and capacity to take on pipework fabrication within our 5000 square foot workshop in Glasgow, servicing a wide variety of customers within the M&E, Fire, Pipework, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Utilities, Renewables and Food and Drink sectors.
We have an experienced team of pipe fitters, coded welders and heating engineers who can manufacture pipework in a variety of materials and sizes; such as mild steel EN10217 and API 5L seamless and welded tube, stainless steel 316, 304 and duplex, copper with fully brazed fittings and a range of plastic pipes both solvent and electrofusion. We are also able to produce grooved pipework to suit Victaulic installations.
No job is too small or large, from threaded and welded small bore for a plant room or large bore pipework up to 300mm and 400mm, pipework can be manufactured to your drawings to the highest specification. We are also happy to visit site and take our own sizes for total peace-of-mind.
We manufacture tanks of all sizes to customer design and specifications.
We deliver throughout Scotland and the North of England on our own transport and can handle full lengths.
Testing and Certification
All our welders are coded to our own 6 weld procedures, that all comply with the BSEN ISO 15614-1:2017 testing standard, covering both mild steel and stainless steel in a range of sizes. Pipework can be hydraulically tested and welds can be NDT tested to x ray standard if required.
We can provide certification for all welders and all pipework supplied to give full traceability to the manufactured pipework.

We understand the industry we work in and can, when required, offer our customers a quick turnaround. We have the skills and workshop capacity that allow us to work on multiple projects at any one time, with additional hours being an option to complete for a quick delivery.
